Specifying WINS server in 2800 was created by chrisstiles
Is it possible to get the 2800 to send the WINS server IP address as part of the DHCP lookup process?

Whilst I'm not 100% for the 2800, for the 2600 and 2500 the answer is no. Sorry.

I think maybe there is a fat chance to add the WINS to Vigor2800.
Maybe you may consider to build a WINS server locally.

There has to be a way to do this but I cant find where.

My DHCP clients are picking up all the correct information for DNS and Gateway but they are getting the remote WINS server from the other end of the Lan to Lan.

I need these DHCP clients to pick up the Local WINS server address.

Is there a Telnet route I need to go down to alter the Default WINS address that the router sends out in DHCP?

No - you can't set the WINS server in this router.
