Draytek 2820 LAn to LAN "Both" directions was created by mawallace
If I set the LAN to LAN direction to "Both" - so I have to enter details in both the Dial In and Dial Out sections.
It seems a bit of overkill to me to have to enter the same info twice!

Both is generally best avoided. I don't know about the 2820 but on earlier models it gave unreliable tunnels. Set one end to dial in and the other to dial out. Once the tunnel is established traffic will pass freely in both directions.

Both is only useful if you are going to set your VPN to 'on demand' rather than always on. Otherwise, choose one end to be dialout, the other dial-in.
