IPSEC between 2820 and ISA 2006 was created by neilbarker
Hi,
I have setup an ipsec tunnel between my 2820 on the remote site and my ISA 2006 on the local site.
The tunnel is working fine however when I look at the connection status on the 2820 there are no RX packets beng recieved and only a few TX packets being sent.
I can not ping the remote site from my LAN. the LAN is on 10.1.0.0 and the 2820 lives on 192.168.1.0.
I used a site to site VPN wizard on the ISA and this has created the rules needed on the LAN however I tracert from my local PC to 192.168.1.123 and it stops at my local ISA server and does not go anywhere else. The same is true when I try and ping from remote to LAN, the tracert stops at the 2820 and goes nowhere.
I have setup a route on the ISA server and looked at the IP tables for the external connection and 192.168.1.0 is present and routes to the correct gateway.
What have I missed??? Been on this for 3 days now...
Thanks
Neil
