I have recently set up Draytek smartmonitor v2.4.2 and syslog 4.5.2. On my syslog it shows that I have accessed the network through VPN. However on the smartmonitor it does not display any VPN connections. Has anyone been able to get this function working on the smart monitor or does it only log outgoing VPN connection?

I think that the VPN option only works if you're using an internal VPN server or if someone's making an outbound VPN - an incoming VPN to the router would never get to the LAN ports (as the VPN tunnel would be on the router, WAN side) so smartmonitor would never see it.
