Howdy Partners,
I've got a network littered with various Draytek Vigor models, the centre of which is a Vigor 2955 and I have LAN to LAN tunnels setup between sites using PPTP over series of high speed fibre based connections.
Could anyone please clarify some things for me:

If you are doing site to site then IPSEC L2L are the best VPNs to use. PPTP is normally user for remote dial-in and RAS
If the 2955 is quite old then the VPN through put is only about upto 25Mbs
If you want faster then you needs a better device
2860 = 50Mbs (VPN throughput) Max tunnels 32
2925 = 70mbs Max tunnels 50
2960 = 200mbs Max tunnels 100
3900 = 600mbs Max tunnels 500
