Hi All

Can anyone help,I have a Draytek 2925 series router and I am trying to set up the Smart VPN client on a domain computer, the end users do not have Admin rights, I have logged on as a the local Administrator and successfully installed the VPN client into the domain users folder set up a user and it connects and works fine. When I log back in as the domain user It runs fine without the need for Admin rights but when I try to connect using the profile I have set up I am getting the Error Not support dialing type on current OS!!!. Has anyone had this issue.

Thanks

What type of VPN tunnel is being used?

Also which version of the Smart VPN client?

Hi

It is set up using L2TP over IPSec, The version is 4.3.3.

If this help the L2TP and L2TP over IPSec are grayed out when I am logged on as the Domain user but the L2TP over IPSec is still ticked. Also when I select the configure option the L2TP over IPSec option is unticked and I am unable to change due to to it being grayed out.

Could you try the 4.3.3.1 firmware now on the DrayTek UK site?

I'm not sure if support for user level access has been added yet, it doesn't appear to be in the release notes. If it still doesn't work with the newer version, I recommend contacting support.
