Since upgrading my 2960 to firmware 1.4.0 I cannot connect from an iOS device using the Draytek Smart VPN service.

When I look at the syslog data on the 2960 I see the traffic is being allowed, but the client will not connect. Has anyone else seen this?

PPTP won't work. Must be IPsec or LLTP I believe.

I believe that SmartVPN uses SSL doesn't it?

It worked fine before the upgrade to 1.4.0 but not since. Same VPN client (different profile of course) to a 2860 running 3.8.8 works fine.

Anyone else having this issue?

1.4.0 on both my 2960 & 3900 have pretty much broken VPN completely.

I've just been looking at it again this morning, I've got a feeling that it may be down to DHCP relay.

Logfiles reports unable to obtain lease, then the connection terminates.

Been through all the settings on both routers and they are all set correctly with regard to DHCP relay.

Tracing with wireshark on the DHCP server sees no incoming DHCP requests from the routers.

Only spent an hour on it this morning so may be totally in the wrong area........

Updating to the 1.4.1 Beta has fixed this issue for me.
