Is it possible to prevent wireless users from seeing equipment which is connected via the lan on a 2800 ?

Privacy? Not that i know of. You need an AP that works in a more grown up way to do this. Netgear units do it but mainly the ProSafe units.

You use the wireless VLAN facility, or the WLAN isolation but I think that's only on Vigor 2820 series and later...

You can cut off the 2800's WLAN from the LAN, just go to Wireless LAN then Access Control, enabled it and set the Policy to "Isolate WLAN from LAN"
