2110 vs 2900 wifi was created by adrianmarsh
Hi All,
Having some issues with a new 2110 wifi router.
My older 2900g series Draytek wifi seems to run ok.
Both sit on the same L2 LAN.
I've tried the 2110 on a fixed channel and auto.
Theres about 4 other wifi hotspots in the area, but the 2110 is the strongest signal.
Testing from the same laptop, trying to access a network share on a LAN server, the symptoms are:
- corrupted file saves onto the server
- offline folders on my laptop continuously kicking in and out
Doesn't seem to be an issue on the older 2900
2110 is set for b+g+n, am thinking to drop it to b+g.
there is a point release firmware update I can see, but nothing in the release notes about this.
Signal strength is coming in near -50db, so I dont think its strength.
Any other things to check ?

Have now sent this onto the support teams. I can't see any reason why a newer, closer wifi point should have more issues than the older, further away one, on the same LAN, same test laptop and same server.
