Sorry forgot to say I'm using WPA2, with b/g/n mixed mode.

Which wireless security is your network using? WPA or WEP might do that, although you shouldn't see low speeds if you use WPA2 security.Voodle wrote:

Are there any other devices connected like 802.11g devices? What happens if you set the router to 802.11n only?

Yes, a couple of wireless g laptops.
Will try setting to wireless n only next time he comes round.
