Vigor 2710vn WDS was created by w7r
Hi all. This isn't a strictly a Vigor related issue but I'll ask on here anyway as somebody else may have come across a similar issue when attempting to use WDS. I've got a 2710vn which I need to extend the range into an area of the house. I've got hold of a Linksys WRT54GL onto which I've loaded dd-wrt. I'm getting a WDS link established when I don't use any form of security but as soon as I introduce it it all falls apart and I'm left with 0% signal indicated in the WDS status page of th WRT. I've got my setup using the same SSID's and channels(6 at present). I've entered the MAC addresses on each router to grant access and as I said without security all looks to be working as expected.
I looked at the Draytek FAQ regarding WDS and on the face of it it would appear that this should work but I'm having no luck. Anybody else got any ideas on this - I'm all out of them!
cheers, w7r
