2920 WiFi issue after upgrade to 3.3.6 was created by bobster99
I upgraded my 2920 to the latest firmware (3.3.6) last night and everything went well. Several PC's and phones have been connected over WiFi without issues.
I came to use my Xbox360 tonight and it refused to connect to the WiFi - it was connected fine previously. Whatever I tried I could not get it to connect.
Having rolled the 2920 back to the previous firmware (3.3.3.1) the Xbox connects fine to the WiFi again.
It is a new black, Xbox360 250GB, with built-in 802.11n WiFi adaptor. Really wierd that it worked fine on 3.3.3.1 but won't connect on 3.3.6 no matter what.
Any ideas? Or where do I report this firmware bug?
Thanks!

HI, Im having the same issue. The Xbox 360 wont connect for me if im using WPA2 as the security settings. If you change it to WPA then it works fine. Seems that it cannot pickup an IP address with WPA2.
A bug need to be logged for this.

It does seem to be connected to WPA2(PSK) on 3.3.6.
I created a 2nd SSID with WPA instead and the Xbox connected fine to that.
I've submitted a support ticket to see if it's a known issue. It repro's when you reset the 2920 back to default settings with the .rst firmware upgrade to 3.3.6.

well spotted i guess i will just keep a second SSID running that allows WPA and restrict it using the MAC address so only XBOX can connect to it. Thanks
