2830n Router Blocking Ports for Wireless Devices was created by stevencavanagh
Hi,
I have a problem that is driving me nuts!
I am trying to use an app (filebrowser) on the iPad to browse files on a number of PCs / Servers on my LAN. However, this only works when I connect the iPad to a Devolo wireless access point. If I connect to the Router directly via WiFi it fails!
I know all the relevant ports (445 & 139) are open on the PCs / servers as I can access them from the iPad when connected over WiFi via the Devolo wireless homeplug, so the problem must lie within the router.
Is there a setting I am missing?
Steve

What physical Draytek port(s) are these PCs / Servers on. I had an issue recently where everything was connected off Port 1, and when I was on the Draytek wi-fi I could access anything I wanted too ok. However I moved a few things around, and ended up plugging some PCs / Servers into port 2. Stuff on port 1 and 2 could "see" each other, and on wi-fi I could "see" stuff on Port 1, but not port 2. Upgraded my firmware to the latest version, and all then worked as expected.
