2710n & Win 7 Wifi was created by lodgie
I am having a problem establishing a wifi session on power up using Win 7 laptops. I have to disconnect and reconnect to get connected. This only applies to Windows 7, XP, Linux and Android are working fine. This router replaced and older 2800 which worked without problems.
Got the latest firmware on the router & the laptop drivers are up to date.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Fist at your 7,xp reset the network card and make sure has auto DHCP and obtain ip automatic
at 2710
change the security mode if will make difference (such wap2/psk etc) ...
if not try connect without security as open network if connects
try change channel
at wireless advanced page try some combinations
If none of them works roll back to the 3.6.3.2 firmware if having same issues
