2925Vn-Plus Wifi Drop-Outs was created by am94
I've recently moved from a previous Draytek router to a new 2925Vn-plus running the latest firmware.
I've set up the Wifi using WPA2 security and fixed channel, not auto, other than that I have kept the setup quite simple.
However, since moving over to this router I am experiencing signal drop, and total loss of WiFi, on all my connected devices (iPad, notebooks, WeMo devices, etc). I've tested the laptop and iPads on other networks and they work perfectly.
I cannot see anything wrong with my configuration but this has been happening for over two weeks and it is starting to annoy me.
Turning off the Wifi on the individual devices can sometimes force it to reconnect (but not always) and also the connection doesn't always remain stable for very long BUT it does seem to be the only thing that forces a reconnection.
Any help and advice welcome!

The issue I am having seems very much in-line with this thread: http://www.forum.draytek.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19313&hilit=2925
And this one:http://forum.draytek.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19314
Having come from a 2820VSn, which ran flawlessly for many years, I'm find this very annoying.
My hardwired AP-900 is running fine, so I know it is simply the 2925Vn-plus.

Hello, I've tried those options but none work.
I've filed a support ticket and will wait to see what DrayTek say. Totally frustrating and certainly making me question why I spent money on a premium product that seems to be far less than premium and a downgrade from the quality of the previous DrayTek hardware. If I wanted buggy software, I'd give MS more of my money:wink:

Hi all, I solved 2925 WiFi dropouts by flashing the firmware using method "C" on this webpage http://www.draytek.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=1215&Itemid=293&lang=en
By flashing the device using this method it puts a flesh clean copy the wifi drivers on the modem. If you flash the device using the web interface it will not work.
My friend flashed his 2925 using this method and it fixed all his WiFi issues as well.
PS: make sure you use the .rst firmware file. The device needs to completely reset to factory default
