AP700 Maximum Recommended Associated Clients was created by stroppyjoe
Hi,
Is anyone aware of a Draytek recommended maximum number of associated clients that should connect to a single AP700 (running the latest firmware) ??? Currently we have a client that has 16 devices connected to a single AP700 (mixture of iPhones, Laptops using email, web) and are complaining of slow connections. I've had a look through the PDF manual for the AP700 and cannot find a recommendation for the maximum number of devices that should be connecting.

It would be slow, Ap700s are only really good for legacy kit now a days IMO and IIRC the lan port is only 100Mb too.
Split that 16ways and you don't have much left.
You need to split the load or get a more industrial strength access point8)
