Hi Setting up 2925n-plus with a number of V-902 APs for customer. I know about scanning for know channels in use - however is there a Draytek survey tool to determine best location for the APs?

Spotted a new feature in some beta firmware I'm running - "AP Map" - it let's you upload a map (floor plan) and I seem to recall you can drop an AP on it and it will show you range/dead spots.
It's in the Central Management >> AP section on the router's Web UI (incidentally, this is on a 2925) but I haven't had any use for it, so not investigated further.
Might be worth a look on DrayTek's website though 'cos they're quite keen to push the Wireless LAN Management
