Wifi & streaming question was created by theia
Hi,
Our Vigor 2860ac is showing that one of our family members is successfully streaming from their iPad to our smart TV.
i.e. Index IP Address TX rate(Kbps) RX rate(Kbps) Sessions Action APP QoS
1 192.168.1.180 603 18 11
However, it seems to cause other users to have a slow wifi internet connection. I thought that this might be due to streaming something from the internet, but apparently the movie has been previously downloaded onto the iPad.
Can anyone give any suggestions for things I could check as possibilities to try and isolate the problem?
Thanks
T.

The restriction is nothing to do with your internet connection, it's simply that the iPad-TV link is hogging a large percentage of the available wifi bandwidth. Maybe force iPad-TV to use the 5GHz band and put everyone else on the 2.4GHz band?
