I've noticed this issue lately, after upgrading to latest firmware.
It's a real pain, as making any changes to the settings is a lottery. It might reboot at any time, then you've got to wait tediously while it reboots and recovers, meanwhile all devices can no longer access it.
This never happened until I updated to the latest firmware a week or so ago.
I buy DrayTek products precisely to avoid this kind of nonsense.

Do you have any Google Home devices on you LAN, when I spoke to Draytek support they hinted that it was something else on my LAN which was causing problems. Not sure how this might be the cause.

I have some Nest cameras, which I guess are now Google devices.
However, the presence of a specific device on the same LAN should not cause DrayTek’s AP to crash when I try to access it’s admin page.
I hope the person you spoke to you wasn’t content with that as the “solution” and were passing this on only as an insight into their attempts to solve the problem!

I was not content with that hypothesis but they claimed they could not replicate the problem. So in the absence of any solution I replaced my kit with Netgear AP's which I have to admit have worked flawlessly.

Thanks.
Well, I've logged a support ticket with them and also included a link to this discussion.
Actually I've been considering Ubiquiti for a while, maybe this is the nudge I need.
