GB is what should be in the country code, if you are in the uk.
If, on the AP you want on channel 6, you go into Diagnostics, Interference Monitor, pick All Channels, and click refresh on the 24GHz band, does it see high utilisation or energy on Channel 6 ?

Colin

The channel energy, which is basically a measure of the noise floor, on other Draytek APs it is titled 'Noise Floor'. seems rather high.
Do the other APs also show similar energy values on Channel 6 ?
On the APs using Channels 1 & 11, what energy values are shown on the channels they are using in Diagnostics, Interference Monitor ?
Are you using PoE to power the APs or a power supply ?
regards
Colin

I tried the interference monitor scan on another access point and for channel 6 it shows as Channel Utilization 3% Channel Energy 38% APs 0 (in fact channels 5,6,7 and 8 all show a similar reading)
For channel 1 (the access point transmitting on channel 1) the numbers are Channel Utilization 8% Channel Energy 5% APs 3
For channel 11 (the access point transmitting on channel 11) the numbers are Channel Utilization 5% Channel Energy 17% APs 0
All access points are powered by POE

It's interesting that all the Aps are seeing quite high levels of energy(noise) on Channel 6 but no APs.
Am I right in thinking that none of the APs can be set to Channel 6 ?
regards
Colin

I haven't tried them all, but I have tried at least one other and it wouldn't work on channel 6 either

Colin. Do you have any conclusions from all this information? Are you perhaps suggesting that something else in the house is blasting out a lot of interference on channel 6? What could that be, Bluetooth devices, Sonos? We do have a lot of Sonos devices but they are all hardwired with the wifi switched off. We also have a few Logitech Harmony remotes which I think use Bluetooth, between the remote and hubs.
Thanks for your help. Michael
