To reflash the firmware you'd need a network connection established to the router though, right? Mine doesn't even get to that stage so I've got no way of communicating with the router at all...

edit: looking at your description of the router after my post - basically if it won't go into TFTP mode then the hardware has a problem, so you'll need to RMA it or something.
