I get 16.5Mbps upload, which I think is the line maxing out. QOS turned off.

This was a pleasant surprise to me.

Glad you mentioned this. I think with recent firmware updates Draytek have managed to push the router performance higher than originally specified. For example I know that Draytek raised the maximum sessions that the 2820 can handle to 17,000 up from 15,000. Good to know you can get those kind of results. Might not work so well on GadgetMVA's setup with the dual WAN and office environment but worth a try no less!

Hi Jedi,

Would you be so kind as to let me know what settings you have for this (for the WAN2 port) and the firmware you are currently using for the 2820?

It would be most helpful!

Thanks

stuey,

I have the following: -
Code:
System Status Router Name : router1 Model Name : Vigor2820n Firmware Version : 3.3.5.2_232201 Build Date/Time : Apr 7 2011 18:10:43 ADSL Firmware Version : 232201_A Hardware: Annex A

(using 3.3.5.2 because greater than that seems not to want to make an IPSEC VPN with a 2800)

and
