Yes I know its brand new. It is impressive, I just need to somehow make use of my existing ADSL and WiBE at same time. I have set devices on static IP's and connect WiFi to 2820, which is centrally located and gives good WiFi coverage. The WiBE is on Cat5 but position on extremity to obtain best 3G but is out of effective range for WiFi.

I could set my own devices to gateway 192.168.1.1 to use the WiBE (which I have to PAYG for data) and set the kids to the gateway 192.168.1.2 (ADSL) as they are the ones on youtube, facebook, etc... for hours at a time... Ideally though I would really like to make use of the dual WAN and load balancing because the 2820 supposedly can do this?

Hi. I've turned off the WiFi on the WiBE.

I need to know which section(s) of the WAN2 config I should use PPPoE, Static/Dynamic IP, or PPTP/L2TP and what to turn on/off.

I've tried various combinations but nothing seems to work. Has anyone achieved connecting a 2nd Broadband router on the same network and managing client access via the 2280?

I'd try by disabling dhcp on the WiBE , give it a static IP ie 192.168.0.1 and tell it to use 192.168.0.2 as a DMZ ( De-militarized Zone ) so you don't end up with 2 Firewalls, ensure the 3G WiBE is connected and check its DNS settings its picked up via 3G and gateway and its WAN connection ,write them down.

Connect 3G WiBE to WAN2 of 2820 , give WAN2 on 2820 static ip of 192.168.0.2 with the DNS of what you written down and gateway of first try 192.168.0.1 if doesn't work change gateway to the 3G WAN interface

Hope that helps

Which of the WAN2 options on the 2820n should I be using; PPPoE, Static/Dynamic IP, or PPTP/L2TP?

Thanks
