Yes- it seemed a great deal. I have already set the parameters you mentioned. I am with BT by the way. All being well I shall connect it early tomorrow when the family are not online and will post my stats to see how it compares.

OK. Plugged it in this morning with the following results. Syncing at 79984 up and 20000 down. Speedtest.net reports 72.94mbs down and 12.96mbs up. My download has improved by about 3mbs and my upload has gone down by the same amount. If it stays connected and stable then I shall be pleased with my purchase. It means I can get rid of the Huawei and my 2920n and just use the one box. The 2920n is only 6 months old, so I don't know whether to keep it and use it as a four port switch, and play around with it as a wireless access point, or try and sell it. Does anyone know if it is possible to use two wireless devices on the same network, and if so, how might I configure the 2920n?

What the settings you have?
did you change anything at vdsl set up????like profiles or g.carrier etc or all are by default?
check at QoS to turn it off because i think by default is on ... so that may cut you some of the upload speed if is on

I will say keep the 2920...don't mean put you down but some was loosing slowly speed by time and never gone up till changed back to bt modem
never know in future
I also end up having 2 units and not thinking to sell them...in fact i have seen at dabs same deal as bt shop with more other units in stock and thinking going for one draytek 120 at these bargain prices

i never done 2 routers in the same network but looks it is possible

Thanks babis3g. The BT shop and Dabs seem to share the same infrastructure- I guess that Dabs operate the warehouses and delivery for BT. So, you will get similar deals on both websites.
I left all the VDSL settings at default, but kept DoS and QoS turned off. I also hadn't yet configured any filtering. So- the speeds may change once it has a bit more work to do.

Right- it's all configured and in place of the 2920n and the BT Openreach Huawei modem. The download sync has gone below 74000mbs and the upload is still synced at 20000mbs. Speedtest.net still reports a slower upload speed than the BT modem- which seems to be a common feature of the Draytek. Let's hope they manage to squeeze some more out of it by future firmware upgrades, as the chipset Draytek use is certainly capable of more.

Well -how odd....
My upload speeds drop to ~10mbs with QoS disabled, and improve to 13mbs with QoS enabled with default settings. Still not as quick as the BT modem, but so much better to play with!
Babis3g- I see you've added a Draytek 120 to your sig- have you got it yet? Hope you got a good deal.
