I'm still having issues. Does the cache life reset after a certain time I wonder? For the most part, the frequency of the drops seems much less, but it is still happening. Just updated to 1.1.4 FW for the AP900, I didn't see it before as the UK website still lists 1.1.3. Nothing in the release note, but we'll see.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I've already started a thread on a similar issue but with the AP900 (disconnects every 3 minutes) - could it be the same problem?njw wrote:
EDIT: Reading diarens post, I also have a 2860 router (not WiFi). I've set its ARP cache to 10 minutes and so far at least, I've been connected to the AP900 for almost an hour with zero drops!
I've set the ARP fix on my 2925. I haven't had any wireless drops for 24hrs (it used to drop every 2 to 3 min). It looks like Draytek are using the same code in firmware on many models (which is normal). Hopefully new firmware for these models is released to fix the issue.

Any news from Draytek?
I appreciate there a betas out, but for me it seems I have the choice between either having the connection dropping all the time but stable wireless, or a stable connection but useless wireless.

This is working when I use the 3.7.4.2 rc3 firmware? What's not working with your wireless?
Here's the beta firmware link I got from support:

edit: um yeah, similar problems, 3.7.4.2 rc3 is not so good, try this link instead

FYI.... upgraded a stable 2860n running 3.7.4.1 to 3.7.4.2 RC3 and it has now it has started rebooting every 8 minutes.
Another 2860n I upgraded from v2860_r41552_001 to 3.7.4.2 RC3 and seems fine.
Both routers have very minimal config... Basically ADSL username/password, wifi settings, UPnP off... that's about it!
Reverting the rebooting one now.

Reverted back from 3.7.4.2 RC3 to 3.7.4.1 - stopped the rebooting.
