I am using 3.3.6.1. I have it logged with support as I also have a fault with my VigorPhone 350 that refuses to work with the 2830 yet works OK with the 2820. Support have sent me a beta firmware for the VigorPhone 350 as they think it is a fault with using a STUN server but I cant keep the 2830 up long enough to test it.

Any joy with the 2830? Mine's (2830n) just suddenly keeps rebooting itself... I'm on firmware 3.3.6.1db_232201

I managed to quickly enable usblog, and after the router rebooting a few times, I looked at the USB and found 1 folder and 1 file, with following on the last 3 lines:

<150>Jan 1 00:00:44 Vigor2830: [WEB]Quick Setup> Static or Dynamic IP (DHCP Client) Setup
<158>Jan 1 00:00:46 Vigor2830: [WEB]System Reboot
<158>Jan 1 00:00:46 Vigor2830: Software Rebooting: cmd=1, fun=htklltsk, line=955

What's happening?

Hmmm

Well I took the plunge and purchased a 2830n and so far it is rock solid!

Just bought one too.

Apart from not being able to get the time and date to work on the router it seems ok.

How do I check what my current firmware is and should I upgrade to the latest?

I've factory reset, and started to re-enter all the settings (tried to restore last config file, but cannot access the router after that)
I've only entered the Bind IP, Opened a port, DMZ = all okay. Once I started on the WLAN, then it re-booted... and after a few times, it got stuck on re-booting constantly without even a stable LAN...

I've reverted to my 2820n...

Sounds like a faulty unit!

Have you opened a support ticket?
