2860 reboots when syslog enabled - anyone else?

I can't see the syslog server been a problem as it only receives information from the router and like I say the exact same setup was fine with my 2830.

if you can hold on, is coming soon a new official firmware out but of course i am not sure if the issue fix, it should do
Have you asked the support of any beta?



As babis3g has said, there is an RC beta out presently, and I am running it; It does fix a fair few problems. I have been running mine with the log on and have rebooted four times over the weekend ( messing about ) and could not replicate your problem. You may wish to try the beta, at your own risk of course.

Yea I have, they haven't seen this before, and everyone elses seems to be fine so the router is going back tomorrow.

when updated firmware have you used the *rst* file extension? the *rst* file it resets to factory defaults the settings and helps to avoid conflict due to the new features in the newer firmwares
