Much agree. It just isn't practical to be doing this all the time. Whether it's too much to ask of a £200 router is open to discussion I guess.

Flashed this morning with the 3.3.7 all restored config from backup, port forwarding working ok, sips working ok, last night I took 120 screenshots of my settings on the 3.3.5 firmware just incase things dont jell to good with the .all firmware, can't seem to get syslog to log calls to and from sips, but that's all at the moment.
I've use a Virgin media cable connection on Wan2 thats all.

Upgrading from 3.3.5.2 to 3.3.7 (*.rst, but uploading an old config file rather than a manual rebuild) breaks the SNMP logging that PRTG relies on.

The SNMP settings in the 2820n web GUI (system maintenance -> management tab) were unchanged; no extra settings or any changes apparent between the firmware upgrades.

Anyone else had a similar issue? PRTG works (i.e. logs throughput) again instantly if I pull back to 3.3.5.2

I use MRTG to monitor the bandwidth utilisation on my 2820vn with SNMP and since upgrading my firware to 3.3.7 it is now broken. I contacted support and they said that the values reported my SNMP in the new firware are dividing the values by 100. So I set my MRTG config file to multiply the values by 100 but it still didn't help and the values looked weird. I would be downloading a file using 8 megabits of bandwidth and MRTG would report it as 100 kilobytes per second.

Their sugguestion was for me to downgrade to 3.3.5.2 and since I have done that it has solved my problem.

I have always been REALLY happy with my Draytek router but this firmware release is disappointing.

Can anyone confirm that DMZ'ing and port forwarding work under 3.3.7? I;ve just DMZ's an IP camera, and it still seems as blocked at ever from the web.... Very strange...

A discussion in Australia reports various issues with 3.3.7 and reports a later beta which appears to work better than the 3.3.7 release (with links).

For me the beta from the polish site works better than 3.3.7 (so far). The issue I had of being unable to establish an ipsec tunnel with a 2800 is fixed.

Link to file: ftp://ftp.draytek.pl/Seria_2820/Firmware/beta/v2820_AnnexA_r29505.all
Model Name : Vigor2820n
Firmware Version : beta_0414
Build Date/Time : Dec 5 2011 18:13:51
ADSL Firmware Version : 211011_A Hardware: Annex A

Note that this may not be the right adsl modem code for all users but since I am using WAN2 only at present this is not a problem to me.
