2750 and BT Infinity was created by mike turner
I have just switched to BT FTTC Infinity. The BT router and modem connect, but I can not get the 2750 to connect.

I have enabled Multi-VLAN setup, with a WAN VLAN ID of 101, and set the connection type to PPPoE.

I have looked at the Syslog, and the two entries that may be significant say:-

Timeout waiting for PADO packets

and

Unable to complete PPPoE discovery.

The online status screen shows a profile of 8c, and the state cycles between handshaking, idle and training.

The firmware version is v1.5.1.

What am I doing wrong?

The VDSL line isn't connecting, you can try the 1.4.1 firmware from the draytek UK site (since they havent updated it) or contact Draytek support and see if they've got a better modem code

I'm obviously looking in the wrong place, but I can't find any firmware for the 2750 on the UK site.

I've tried 1.4.1 from draytek.com, but that doesn't work, either.

I've raised it with support, but haven't heard a reply, yet.

I had a similar issue getting Digital Region (also FTTC) connected to my 2820n. Voodle, quite rightly, pointed out you must not have anything in the "DisplayName" field for your WAN connection.

Thank you for your suggestion, pgudge, but there isn't a Display Name field, or anything similar, on the 2750.

At the moment, I am wondering whether my problem is that I am using the wrong modem firmware, because the only firmware that I can find is on draytek.com. That is why I am trying to find a UK version of the firmware.

Mike.
