I appreciate that's frustrating but you didn't get "nothing" - you got the unit tested
and confirmed that it does work normally, so you know it's a local compatibility issue
rather than a faulty unit. Did you try the 1.5.2 Beta from http://www.support.draytek.co.uk/download/v2750_152_beta.zip ?

No change in upload speed and still connecting at 39985 on d/l rather than the 39999 on Huawei. Upload sync is at 9999 but actual throughput is about 6Mbps compared to 8.5Mbps on the Huawei.

Just giving a full account of symptoms. Clearly the Draytek is not able to establish as fast a connection as the Huawei. And before you say it's my line, I have SNRs of 15dB and theoretical top sync speeds approaching 70Mbps :)
