Vigor 2860 Rebooting every couple of minutes

I can confirm that this does NOT fix the issue of the 2860n rebooting.

I have upgrades to this latest firmware but am still getting reboots.

I disabled upnp but I'm still getting them. Dlna is also disabled in plex.

I've sent 2 support requests to draytek now but have heard nothing back from them.

I'm really at a loss here. Just spend decent money on a router and it can't even perform the most basic of functionality; staying on for more than 30 mins at a time without rebooting itself?!?

I sent them a callstack of the crash so they could match it up with symbols from there code but UK support just ignored it.

I can't figure out if support are lazy, incompetent or just dont care.

You might have a different issue.

I had this at home and draytek have said the same thing - disabling UPnP allowed Plex to work on my network (which I installed for my chromecast :)). I've asked draytek if there's a fix yet but it seems like they're still waiting on a fix :/

What I found was - this upnp reboot shows no reboot information when doing sys ver dbg. If it shows reboot info there then it's something different

Also I found that disabling Plex's GDM facility (allows auto discovery of plex servers on the network from plex client) helped the reboots stop. My computer(s) running utorrent with UPnP enabled also made it reboot more often.

cheops2006: could you post it in the thread and I can compare with what I got from my 2830?

this is the crash I get, I had to revert to 3.7.3.3 because the new one just causes huge wireless problems of not being able to connect to game servers etc...just intermittent problems

Has anybody heard any news from Draytek on the UPnP reboot problem?
It's been quite a while now.
I also noticed problems with the wireless on ver 4.7.1, but that doesn't bother me so much, as most my wireless devices connect via a separate access point.

I've been using a 'test' version of firmware from Draytek UK (Version - 3.7.5_test1) As a result my 2860n has much improved stability and wireless seems much improved and I've had no re-boots for 168 hours - so long as UPnP is disabled! Previously my router would repeatedly re-boot with UPnP enabled or disabled and the wireless performance / throughput was very poor.

Draytek have advised me that the UPnP problem has been fixed and an updated version of the firmware for the 2860 will be released soon.
